Meet the Founder & CEO

Hey, I’m Chris Martinez, founder of Total Safety System, Army Veteran, and Certified Safety Professional (CSP).

My safety journey started in the U.S. Army, where I learned the value of discipline, accountability, and taking care of the people around you. When I transitioned into civilian work, I brought those lessons with me and saw how powerful they are in building safer, stronger teams.

In 2021, I earned my MBA because I wanted to close the gap between safety and business leadership. I believe safety should help your business perform better, not slow it down. That’s the mindset behind every program and training we deliver.

I work closely with construction and trade businesses that want to take safety seriously—but need a clear, practical way to do it. What sets my approach apart is how I connect leadership and frontline workers through honest, productive conversations that lead to real results.
